Robin Hopkins is a writer, actor, and podcast host best known for Dear Headspace and Well...Adjusting. Dear Headspace. Robin has also written for The New York Times and HuffPost, co-authored the award-winning book If These Ovaries Could Talk, and previously co-hosted the hit podcast of the same name. She lives in Brooklyn with her wife and two teenagers.
Samantha Edu is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Practitioner committed to making mental health and wellness accessible. She holds counseling licenses in Georgia and Washington State and is certified in telemental health, professional supervision, and workplace mindfulness. Through her counseling and DEI work, Samantha helps individuals and organizations foster growth, inclusivity, and well-being in daily life.
Lateefah Watford, MD.
Kaiser Permanente Psychiatrist
In the third grade, Lateefah K. A. Watford, MD, developed a profound desire to help children struggling with emotional pain. At that young age, she decided that she would become a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. In pursuit of her dream, Dr. Watford, a proud HBCU graduate, completed her undergraduate studies at Florida A&M University and received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Watford completed her residency training at Indiana University and another fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University.
With more than 20 years of clinical practice in General, Child, Adolescent and Forensic Psychiatry, inclusive of over a decade of serving in leadership roles, she has left an indelible mark on the field of Psychiatry. Since 2011, Dr. Watford has been an integral part of the Behavioral Health Department of The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, formerly serving as the Chief of the department while providing compassionate Psychiatric care for patients of all ages. Dr. Watford, a wife & mother of 5 children, is an avid traveler and a self-care enthusiast. An eternal educator, Dr. Watford is an enthusiastic speaker seen on local and national television, in print and at local community events.
Her journey is a testament to her commitment to empowering patients by providing compassionate care and providing them with the tools and guidance needed to assist them on their journey of growth and healing.
